Within the framework of the Excellence Initiative of the German Federal Government and the Federal German States, the Universität Stuttgart under the co-ordination of Univ.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. Prof. E.h. Dr.-Ing. E.h. Dr.h.c. mult. Engelbert Westkämper, IFF, developed a concept for the Graduate School for advanced Manufacturing Engineering, GSaME. GSaME has been rated excellent by international experts and will be financially supported by the DFG.
